After our country's first manned mission to the moon, astronaut Michael Collins said, “We were our nation's envoys, we three, and it would be a national disgrace if anything went wrong.
We would be watched by the world; we must not fail.”
Astronaut Neil Armstrong said, “I was aware that this was the culmination of the work of 300,000 or 400,000 people over a decade.”
You and I are representatives of the greatest mission ever given to mankind. We are called to make His Good News known to the entireworld: Jesus said to them, Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation (Mark 16:15 NIV).
Jesus gave His life to help us receive something
that we could not possibly achieve for ourselves. That is the Good News.
For many generations before Jesus came to
earth, men and women had demonstrated that
they could not live the holy life that would
enable them to enter Heaven. The earth and
mankind had become polluted by sin and God
would not permit Heaven to also become polluted.
And so, God made it possible for us to receive the holiness of His Son as a free gift.
All we would have to do was to believe in and trust in His Son.
We believe in Jesus as our Savior because someone helped us. That person learned the same truth from someone who helped them. The disciples of Jesus believed in Him and told others. They, in turn, passed along the Good News to their generation so they could pass it along to the next generation. But Jesus knew that we would sometimes hesitate and even be afraid to tell others about His message.

 by Merlin Carothers

Many believers have been afraid to tell others
Jesus' simple message that anyone who
believes in Him as their Savior has God's
promise to give them eternal life. This good
news is so amazing that it seems too difficult
for some people to believe. But you and I have
been chosen to tell as many others as we can!
The astronauts were elated that they were
chosen to fly to the moon. They knew the mission
would do what no man had ever done before. It could cost them their lives but they chose to believe they would be successful. You and I can choose to help others believe in and trust in Jesus. We can do our very best just as many before us have done.
Yes, millions of people have labored before,
and millions more are still doing what they can
do to help others know what the Good News is.
God gives you and me the freedom to make our choice. We believe in Jesus and will go to
Heaven. We too can give our lives to help others
know Him. If we do this God will bless us now
and for eternity. We can follow the example of
those who made it possible for us to know and
love His Son.
The disciples Jesus selected were known as:
unschooled, ordinary men (see Acts 4:13 NIV).
When Jesus needed their support they fled. But
Jesus believed in them. Jesus believes in you and
me. We too are His disciples. He gives us His
love and support so that we too may help Him
fulfill His mission. What an opportunity He has
given us!

MAILING A LETTER

We often include quotes from letters that we receive from prisoners, but we have never mentioned what one stamp may mean to them. He or she may be able to obtain only one or two stamps per month. So when they choose to send a letter to the
Foundation of Praise we try our best to respond to them in a way that will help them know and love Jesus as their Savior. Don't forget about those in jail. Suffer with them as though you were there yourself (Heb.13:3 TLB).

Our loss is Heaven’s gain. Our prayers
are with those who loved them.
Millions of activities are happening in
our bodies, 24 hours a day. Moving! Changing! Keeping us alive! But when our heart stops - we stop. Our life on
earth ends. Today we are alive. Today we can do something that may help another person to
live forever. What an opportunity we
have! MERLIN

I am a Religious Sister working as a volunteer pastoral team in Palmasola Prison. We minister to about 3000 inmates. My mission is to help the foreigners who can-not understand Spanish. May I beg you for a copy of your books in other languages? These books will be going from hand to hand!
SISTER MARGRITH, BOLIVIA

I have been healed of the deadly habit of smoking after following your advice. I know God is truly working and I now have the power of the weapon of praise. JOSEPH, PAPUA NEW GUINEA

I read Prison to Praise and what an awesome experience it was! I started right then thanking Him for the particular valley we are in at the moment. I had the most wonderful night praising the Lord, sleeping a little, waking and beginning to thank Him all over again. I told my husband, who is a pastor, all about the book and insisted that I read the last two chapters to him. After I had finished, he leapt out of bed and couldn't wait to start his day.
CAROL, SOUTH AFRICA

I have read so many books but Prison to Praise is the Word of God coming from His mouth, to you, to me, to the millions who have read this book.
LAURA, CANADA

I am not writing to you from a prison, hospital or from the military, but I am struggling with an addiction. Inside I never felt like I was worth anything, or worth loving. I was not interested in anything spiritual. Prison to Praise was given to me by a co-worker and as I read it something spoke to me. I cried for the first time in a long time while reading about your connection with God that day in church. Writing this is helping me. I want to be happy, healthy, and to experience the joy of being free. JAY, IRELAND

Thank you for your book that I read in Italian. I want to praise and thank God for everything. GIULIA, ITALY

We are receiving letters and email from people who read Prison to Praise in many languages. One of our goals is to help fulfill God's Word. Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.

After reading Answers to Praise I began to praise God for all my big and small problems and I was so happy because it really works! God hears me and I feel His love. I am sure that God chose you and your wife to help many people. My life is changing because I have learned to praise God. FRANCESCA, SWITZERLAND

The May issue of Praise News was the best ever!
Thank you. LES, AZ

I really enjoyed Mary's tapes. She should do more.
Her sweet spirit comes through! J A N , CA

Learning to praise God in all things was probably
the most helpful and sustaining thing I have learned. The Lord has offered me many challenges and praise has helped me meet the challenges. While I don't always “leap and bound” I always have a good steady crawl. SHEILA, E-MAIL

I look forward every month to your Praise News. I
learn something every time. Elsie, CA

I want to let you know that your books have increased my faith more than anything I have ever read. PHIL, SC
I have been following your ministry for over 30 years and wanted you to know what a blessing your ministry has been to my life. May God bless you with a long and healthy life. I know Heaven is waiting for you, but not yet. God knows that this world needs you! SANDY, CA

I read your books and I see a big change in life. I'm
really putting God's Word into action. TRACIE, OR
